Join Our Team as a Research Assistant at GABS Research

We are looking for a dedicated Research Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:

• Preparation of training manuals
• Facilitating training sessions
• Data collection and supervision of field work
• Data analysis using statistical software such as Stata and SPSS
• Designing CAPI setups

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have a second degree in Economics, Agric / Agribusiness, Statistics, or other humanities. Candidates should be ready for in-person work and able to come to the office daily.

Age: Not more than 40 years

Expected Start Date: Monday, 17th June 2024

Appointment Duration: 4 months, subject to renewal based on performance

Salary Range: GHS 2,000 - 3,000 with additional incentives

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and write field work reports
• Willingness to travel to Northern Ghana and other parts of the country in all seasons
• Flexibility to work beyond official business hours when necessary
• Commitment to learning new skills
• Maintain loyalty and professionalism at all times
• Perform any other duties assigned by the manager
