Two connected services
CAPI means interviewers record answers directly on a tablet instead of on paper. The questions themselves and the application that carries them are different pieces of work, and you can commission either or both.
We design questionnaires and interview guides from your research objectives and existing literature, aiming for questions that are relevant to the study and easy for respondents to understand.
We programme the instrument as a CSPro application for Android tablets, so interviews are captured digitally in the field and the data is available for daily checks under field data collection.
CSPro is the platform GABS has used for its CAPI work on the projects below. If you have not chosen a platform yet, you are welcome to enquire anyway. If you already use another platform, tell us and we will discuss what we can support.
Testing arrangements, revisions and the handover format are agreed with you when scope is discussed.
